IS ALL ART ORIGINAL?

Yes. My work is executed on fine rice paper which is wet mounted to a canvas once completed. Wet mounting is a process by which a dry piece of art is adhered to a surface using glue.

IS EACH PIECE UNIQUE?

Yes. It’s impossible to duplicate any of my pieces. Some may appear to be, but upon closer inspection you’ll see the differences.

WHAT IS RICE PAPER?

Xuan or Shuen rice paper originated in ancient China and was used for writing and painting. It’s renowned for its absorbency while remaining soft and fine textured. It’s suitable for conveying the artistic qualities of both Chinese calligraphy and painting.

DO YOU OFFER GICLEE?

I do offer giclee prints on occasion and I do so in small quantities. Each giclee is part of a numbered series. When the series is sold I will not produce any more.

WHAT IS A GICLEE?

A giclee is a costly photographic reproduction using a high-quality inkjet printer to make individual copies.

IS EACH PIECE FRAMED?

Yes. No matter the size of the piece, it will be framed and ready to hang. Most of my work is float framed which means the canvas upon which each piece is mounted appears to be floating within the frame. It is attached to the frame from the back of the canvas. Some paintings are framed under glass.

IS YOUR WORK GUARANTEED?

Yes. Each piece is guaranteed for life in terms of color fastness and moisture resistance. I finish each piece with 2 protective coats of clear polyurethane.

WHO PAYS FOR SHIPPING?

Shipping is included with the purchase of your art. If you live within a 2 hour drive from Denver I am willing to deliver your painting.
